The UI Designer is an integral member of the TakeLessons product team, who translates requirements, wireframes, and interaction models into pixel-perfect visual artifacts including visually compelling and innovative web and mobile application interfaces. We are looking for a talented, professional team player who is comfortable creating prototypes in HTML/CSS and Photoshop and is passionate about the ability of visual design to communicate, delight, influence, and persuade.
As a UI Designer at TakeLessons, you will…
●        Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and other Designers to design beautiful and functional products and features
●        Solve complex problems with elegance and simplicity
●        Present the user interface visually so information is easy to find, easy to read, and easy to understand
●        Stay up-to-date on design patterns, consumer psychology, and visual trends
●        Be an expert in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
●        Possess knowledge of responsive and cross-platform design

Job Requirements:

In your portfolio, we would like to see…
●        Design that knocks our socks off—so if you have this, please apply!
●        2+ years of experience in Visual Design or a related field
●        A degree in Graphic Design, Computer Arts, or a related field preferred
●        Beautiful Visual / UI designs with a clean, modern aesthetic
●        Demonstrated experience with mobile (web, iOS, Android) and responsive design
●        Understanding of typography and layouts
