Samsung mobile is looking for a competent and creative UX Manager to initiate/coordinate advanced UX projects, and to manage/resolve UX issues raised from development process of the mobile application on our product lineup spanning from low tiered feature phones and Android OS phones or Tablet PC for Sprint.

Responsibilities

·Manage team members in coordinating self-initiated and assigned projects;should be able to plan/propose/conductaproject and derive analytic results and successfully present the findings in effective ways.

·Supervise and coordinate team members in order to efficiently resolve UX specific issues.

·Create and develop information architecture and wireframes of workflows for the applications of mobile devices with reasonable design alternatives.

·Ensure the UI development results meet the market (consumer) demand, technical specification and requirements.

·Communicate and cooperate with other related parties (product design team, research, engineers, & marketing), other business

·Functions and especially outside counter partner (Telecommunication operators and outside consultants).

·Conduct small group usability studies and prepare analysis reports in terms of user experience for existing mobile devices or Mobile trends.

·Analyze various requirements from carriers and propose strategic recommendations to meet the needs.

    Job Requirements:

    Background/Experience

    Requirements

    ·+4year of industry experience on the design of the interface/interaction of mobile phone or equivalent mobile media devices.

    ·Highly motivated in mobile application design and heavy user of mobile applications.

    ·Experienced in preparing & presenting professional UX materials.

    ·Understanding of UI related software architecture.

    ·Working knowledge eand skills in Usability Engineering.

    ·Must be highly skilled in using officewares – MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

    ·Must demonstrate creative innovative approach to design.

    ·Knowledge in using relevant design tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio preferred.

    ·Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.

    ·Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

    ·Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred, but not required.

    ·Demonstration or portfolio of wireframes/workflows of user interface/interaction design required.

      Education

      ·Master’s Degree or higher in Human factors, Human computer interactions, Interaction Design, Usability engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Information Technology.
