Position Summary:

UX Designers work with our cross-functional development teams to deliver creative and compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Designs should enhance solution adoption and balance simplicity and attractiveness with powerful functionality. UX Designers must have a passion for user-centric design, a collaborative spirit, and be a strong communicator.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with teams to deliver a creative, compelling, and cohesive user experience across multiple products
  • Lead the development of rich, functional, and rapid UI prototypes using an iterative approach (white boards, low fidelity mockups, and high fidelity mockups)
  • Deliver interaction design artifacts and information architecture definitions
  • Perform usability studies and reviews working with internal and external users
  • Develop and communicate style and usability guidelines to development and external design teams
  • Coordinate work with external creative/design firms and ensure consistency across multiple products

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, & JavaScript and development tools a plus
  • Knowledge of a variety of design tools (PowerPoint, Balsamiq, Visio, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) across multiple teams and departments (internal and external)
  • Ability to understand the big picture and a knack for finding ways to simplify application experience
  • Proven and demonstrable experience designing simple, creative, and compelling application UIs
  • Advanced skills in rapid UI prototyping (low and high fidelity mockups)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with responsive UI design techniques in a web and mobile environment a plus
  • Experience delivering interaction and information architecture designs
  • Experience driving usability evaluations with internal and external users
