Oracle | Eloqua - the industry leader in marketing automation - is seeking a passionate, talented developer to join the Oracle Marketing Cloud development team in Vienna, Virginia. In this role, you will work closely with a smart, energetic team to design, develop, and test new features for our core marketing automation product using cutting-edge Web technologies. You will participate in the full development process from beginning to end, and our talented team will absolutely push your limits as a developer. You’ll also have fun along the way, participating in our team’s Team Fortress 2 matches or simply grabbing a Red Bull or beer from the fridge and hanging out.

Work is non-routine, complex, and challenging, involving the application of advanced technical skills in order to create awesome products solving big business problems for some of the largest companies in the world across multiple industries. You will be a leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

 

Preferred:

  • Motivated self-starter with a desire to innovate
  • Fast learner who can pick up new technologies quickly
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal) and proven performance in a leadership/mentoring role
  • Drive for delivering quality products in a timely manner
  • Good team player with a “killer instinct” to get the job done
  • 7+ years professional software development experience.

 

Nice to have:

  • GitHub (or similar) profile with open-source contributions
  • Experience building rich HTML5 UIs backed by a REST API
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (such as Backbone, AngularJS, Ember, or SproutCore)
  • Experience using agile development methodologies (such as SCRUM) & Continuous Integration (CI)
  • University degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
